  • Judith Friedman

    VMD

    Dr. Friedman has been a staff veterinarian since 2001. Her primary interest is small animal medicine. Dr. Friedman is orginally from Shamokin, Pennsylvania and moved to the Philadelphia area in 1989 to attend veterinary school. She currently resides in Warminster with her husband, Richard, and their son and daughter. The family enjoys their many pets, a beagle mix and five cats.

    Dr. Sweeney grew up in New Jersey where she was always surrounded by a wide array of pets ranging from hamsters to goats. From a very young age, she knew she wanted to pursue a career working with animals. Dr. Sweeney graduated from Rider College with a degree in Biology and then earned her veterinary degree at The University of Pennsylvania in 1997. Dr. Sweeney and her husband lived in the Adirondacks where she practiced for several years before returning to the area. Dr. Sweeney joined VCA Neshaminy in 2004 and currently resides in Washington Crossing with her family. She enjoys spending time with family, skiing, biking and participating in triathlons.

    Dr. Gina Connelly grew up in Philadelphia. After she obtained her veterinary degree, she moved to Washington, D.C. and completed a one-year internship, rotating through small animal medicine, surgery, and emergency. She then worked at a small private practice outside of Baltimore, MD before moving back to the Philadelphia area and joining our staff. Dr. Connelly lives with her husband Brian, her son Jimmy, and her pets, a rescued Maltese mix named Kayla and a diva-cat named Kendall. She enjoys running, biking, reading, watching the Phils, and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Connelly's decision to enter the field of veterinary medicine originated with her love of the sciences. The choice was further motivated by her wish to help animals and people..

  • Nicole Sczypiorski

    DVM

    Dr. Sczypiorski DVM,CVA grew up in Philadelphia and always knew she wanted to become a vet. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Arcadia University in Glenside, PA, and then went to Canada to receive her veterinary degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island in 2012. She has a strong interest in integrative medicine - combining conventional and alternative approaches to provide the best quality of care for pets - and became certified in veterinary acupuncture by the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine in December 2012. She was the lead doctor at Banfield, Fairless Hills, before joining the team at VCA Neshaminy in May 2013. She currently resides in northeast Philadelphia with her dog and enjoys reading, creative writing, and spending time with family and friends. "I believe in the positive impact pets have on our lives. I want to do everything I can to ensure they have the best quality of life possible in return for all they do for us. I've always known this was my calling.".
